Priyamani

Priyamani  entered big screens through Kangalal Kaidhu Sei, tamil film. She also entered telugu with movie Evaare Aatagaadu in the same year. Tamil film Paruthiveeran was a major break for Priyamani  and also Yamadonga in telugu in the same year. Both the films got her deserved popularity, appreciations and awards as an actress. Priyamani came to Malayalam with the film Sathyam. Malayalam film Thirakkatha got her second Best Actress Filmfare Awards. Kannada film industry saw her performance through the superhit film Ram. Priyamani did a major role in Ravanan directed by Maniratnam in both the languages.Charulatha was a Kannada movie which got her awards again for her commitment and dedication towards work. Adhu Oru Kana Kaalam in tamil and Pellaina Kothalo in telugu were movies which gave opportunity to perform as an artist. Priyamani was seen in Malaikottai with Vishal which also gave her another hit to add to her name. But, movies like Thotta and Arumugam were commerically not successful. Ninaithale Inikkum was again a super hit this was a remake of malayalam superhit film Classmates. Drona, Mitrudu, Pravarakhyudu were three telugu films she had done in between but, none of them could give relief to any of their producers. But, Sumanth starrer Raja was a super hit.Priyamani then did Pranchiyettan and the Saint, a Ranjith movie and the film was a super hit. Kannada movies Only Vishnuvardhana  was a super hit while Anna Bond was a failure commercially. Priyamani was also part of Grandmaster of Mohanlal in malayalam.
